This is such an exciting time to be involved in the CIVIC Leadership Institute and what a privilege it is to work with each of you to make Hampton Roads an even better place.
In the coming months, your board will unveil the results of an intensive and thoughtful strategic planning process. The result will be nothing less than transformational for the organization and its impact on the region.
As part of that process, we've taken significant steps to engage even more alumni in our planning process. We have a robust committee led by Dan Bell, Vice Chair for Alumni Relations, and we're looking for class ambassadors. The duties are simple but rewarding: keep in touch with your class about upcoming events, encourage 100% financial participation and engage your classmates in shaping the future of this extraordinary network. To gauge your interest in our activities and our future, we're launching an alumni survey in the coming weeks. It shouldn't take but a few minutes but your participation is critically important.
